Catechist resources

The curated resources in this list have been gathered over years of volunteering as an Orthodox catechist. This collection has a personal character, as it includes texts and links — along with some relevant commentary — that have been meaningful to me at different points in my journey. At the same time, the list is not entirely personal; many of the resources, especially in the “Spiritual Growth” section, are recommendations by my spiritual father, other priests and mentors, as well as the training programs I have attended.

It goes without saying that the official websites and curricula of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, the Orthodox Church of America, and the other Orthodox Churches in the USA contain a wealth of information and material that must always be explored. This is why I am not including any resources from them in this list.

The references are quite extensive, so I’ve separated them into sections. Please click on each button below to go to the relative section.
