We would love to come to your own space to organize a creative and interactive educational event for young and old alike. All participants will delve deeper into an Orthodox theme, while the grown-ups can also explore ways to effectively teach a religious education topic, at home or in the Sunday School classroom.

Concert and teacher training with Presvytera Gigi Baba-Shadid
Presvytera Gigi Baba Shadid is a friend and collaborator of Orthodox Pebbles and an award-winning Orthodox educator. She is the creator of the popular YouTube series “Sing-Along with Gigi“, which is hosted on the channel of the Y2AM Ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archiocese of America. Her passion is teaching with music, and she can complement our event with an optional children’s concert experience. With over fifty original songs for teaching Orthodox youth, participants will be filled with joy while learning the eternal truths of our Faith.
Presvytera Gigi also offers an additional hands-on training workshop for Sunday School teachers and youth workers. Building on an experience of over twenty five years in education, Gigi has led teacher trainings and workshops in both public and parochial schools as well as in numerous Orthodox churches. Participants will leave feeling excited and ready to engage young people in proven and effective instruction.
You can choose to plan a half-day retreat with Natalie and Despina of Orthodox Pebbles, or a full-day retreat also including Pr. Gigi.

The team from Orthodox Pebbles came prepared with lessons, activities and crafts to lead our children in a discussion about the Sunday’s of Great Lent and the spiritual practices of fasting, prayer and almsgiving.
