This product is a small fabric learning set ideal for a Pascha basket stuffer. The child can place the Epitaphios inside the Sepulcher, then decorate it with candles and flowers. For a full lesson to complement this set, please visit our page Four Icons for Pascha.
Please note:
This is an educational resource to help teach Orthodox Christian children about Pascha. Please be mindful when using, washing or storing it, since it depicts holy objects and scenes inspired by icons, which in real life are treated with reverence. Not suitable for children under three years old.
MAKE-YOUR-OWN LEARNING SET
All the instructions are printed on the fabric and there is no sewing required. The preparation only involves cutting the pieces, and the whole set can be finished in about five minutes.
STEP 1
There are different ordering options depending on your needs.
- A swatch of fabric (8″x 8″), has 1 complete learning set.
- Order in multiples to save on cost: packs of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 28 sets.
STEP 2
Cut out all the pieces following the instructions on the fabric.
READY to LEARN!
When finished using the set, the pieces can be placed on the Sepulcher and the Sepulcher can be rolled up for storage.
Placing the finished set inside a plastic Easter egg is a fun idea.
