This product is a small fabric learning set ideal for a Pascha basket stuffer. The child can put the scenes in order to retell the story of Pascha. For a full lesson to complement this set, please visit our page Four Icons for Pascha.
This is an educational resource to help teach Orthodox Christian children about Pascha. Please be mindful when using, washing or storing it, since it depicts holy objects and scenes inspired by icons, which in real life are treated with reverence. Not suitable for children under three years old.
MAKE-YOUR-OWN LEARNING SET
All the instructions are printed on the fabric and there is no sewing required. The preparation only involves cutting the pieces, and the whole set can be finished in about five minutes.
There are different ordering options depending on your needs.
- A test swatch of fabric (8″x 8″), has 1 complete learning set.
- A fat quarter has 6 complete learning sets.
- A yard has 28 learning sets. It could make an inexpensive and easy gift for Sunday School classes.
We have designed this set for fleece fabric, as it is sturdy, doesn’t fray, it is soft and cuddly, lays flat, and the pieces stick together nicely when using it. So, for the best experience, please make sure to order fleece and not another type of fabric.
Cut out all the pieces following the instructions on the fabric.
READY to LEARN!
When finished using the set, the pieces can be stacked and rolled together for storage.
Placing the finished set inside a plastic Easter egg is a fun idea.
COMPLEMENTARY ITEM – Optional
